Applications for the Helmut Veith Scholarship 2025-2026 are now available in Austria. The VCLA is seeking motivated and outstanding female master's students (male students are not eligible) for the Helmut Veith Stipend. Students who wish to pursue a master's degree in one of the eligible Computer Science programs at TU Wien taught in English during the following semesters: winter semester 2025/2026, summer semester 2026, and winter semester 2026/2027, are eligible to apply for this international scholarship.

The Helmut Veith Stipend is a fully-funded stipend for master's students. The fully financed master's scholarship will cover all tuition fees. Furthermore, it offers an annual stipend of EUR 7,000. Female students with a strong academic background and an interest in computer science should apply for the Helmut Veith Stipend Scholarship 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only female students are eligible.
• Applicants must be eligible for admission into one of the eligible master's programs in computer science at TU Wien in 2025/2026 that are taught in English.
• Students must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or mathematics, or an equivalent qualification.
• They should have considerable mathematical and technical skills, as well as an interest in any of Helmut Veith's study fields, which include logic in computer science, formal methods and verification, foundations of artificial intelligence, algorithms and complexity theory, and computer security.
• They must be skilled in English.

Scholarship Benefits

• Students will receive a complete tuition fee waiver.
• They will receive an annual stipend of EUR 7,000 for two years.
