Japan, the world's technology capital, has established the scholarship program in partnership with the World Bank. The project is known as the Joint Japan-World Bank Scholarship program 2025. The program is offered to developing-country nationals with Bachelor's degrees. The fully financed master's degree scholarship aims to fulfill the World Bank's purpose of forging contemporary, dynamic approaches to capacity development.

The opportunity to get a full scholarship from one of the world's most influential organizations is now readily available. JJ/WBGSP, subject to financial availability, provides scholarships for 41 Participating Master's Programs at 24 institutions in the United States, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan in essential development fields such as economic policy management, tax policy, and infrastructure management.

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Nationals of countries listed by the World Bank.
  • Not a dual-national citizen of a developed country.
  • Not employed by any of the World Bank Group's organizations.
  • Not a blood relative of any individual working in any of the World Bank Group's organizations.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree.
  • Must have spent three years after receiving a Bachelor's degree.
  • After completing your Bachelor's degree, you should have three years of job experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
  • Document the years of work experience.
  • Letter of Admission.
  • Two recommendation letters.
  • One completed application form.
  • Medical certificate.
  • Valid Passport or another identification card
