The University of Copenhagen (UCPH), one of the leading universities in Europe, is looking for applicants for a PhD fellowship in Interpretable Natural Language Processing (NLP). The fellowship starts on September 1, 2025, and is a great chance for budding researchers to get involved in exciting work in machine learning (ML) and NLP.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this fellowship, you need to:

• Have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a similar field (or something equivalent).
• Have a solid background in NLP or ML.
• Be good at writing and speaking in English.
• Share any research, publications, or relevant work experience if you have them.
• Be curious and eager to learn about interpretable NLP.

Other helpful skills include

• Experience with programming and data analysis.
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
