Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the CSU Silk Road Scholarship 2025, you need to meet these requirements:

• Be a non-Chinese citizen and be in good health.
• Have a Bachelor's degree if you're applying for a Master's program or a Master's degree if you're going for a PhD.
• Be under 35 years old for the Master's and under 40 for the PhD.
• Show that you have strong academic and research skills.
• Meet the language requirements:
  • For Chinese programs, you need HSK Level 4 (at least 180 points; 260 is better).
  • For English programs, you need an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher or a TOEFL score of 85 or more.
  • If you're a native speaker or have graduated from a Chinese or English-taught program, you might not need to worry about language tests.
