If you're a woman holding a doctorate and hoping to do postdoctoral research in the U.S., the AAUW International Postdoctoral Research Fellowships for 2026 could be a great chance. Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility requirements include:

• Applicants should be women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
• A doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., M.D., or similar) must be obtained by the application deadline.
• A solid academic background is expected, with a GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4.0.
• Applicants must plan to return to their home country after the fellowship.
• A dedication to improving the lives of women and girls through community involvement or research is needed.
• Applicants must be engaged in full-time postdoctoral research at an approved U.S. institution (or international institution for GWI applicants).

Fellowship Benefits

• Stipend: $50,000 (paid in two installments)
