The CSC scholarship program is highly competitive with consideration given to learning merit and other factors.Most importantly CSC scholarships are available to all students without an application fee. Successful applicants receive funding from the Chinese government to pursue higher education.

CSC Scholarship Types

There are two primary categories of CSC scholarships:

Type A and Type B.

Students seeking doctoral or master's degrees are eligible to apply for Type A scholarships, which pay for living expenses, tuition, housing and health insurance.

Scholarships of Type B provide comparable benefits adapted to the educational level of recipients, supporting students pursuing college or Chinese language studies.
