Eligibility Criteria

• First Doctoral Qualification: Applicants should normally be pursuing their first doctoral degree.
• Academic merit: The applicant's research potential and academic quality are the primary criteria for selection. A high academic record is necessary. For domestic applicants, a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 8.0 ('A' grade) or above in previous studies, particularly honors or master's degrees with a major research component from a New Zealand university.
