Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the Jinan University International Scholarships 2025, applicants must:

• Have a high school diploma (for undergraduate programs) or a bachelor's degree (for master's programs).
• Be between 18 and 25 years old.
• Maintain healthy physical and mental health.
• Have no criminal history.
• Meet the following language proficiency requirements:
• For Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 5 (minimum of 180 points).
• English-taught programs require IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL 80+.

Jinan University Scholarships for International Students

Jinan University provides various scholarships for international students to study in China. While filling out the Scholarship Application Form, please specify Jinan University as the applying institution. Here is a brief overview:

• Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) - Apply through the Chinese embassy or consulate from November 2024 to April 2025. Please specify Jinan University as the institution.
• Guangdong Provincial Government Scholarship - Direct application to Jinan University. Top students can receive 10,000 RMB in their first year.
• Chinese Language Education Scholarship - Apply through a Chinese embassy or consulate. Applicants must commit to five years of teaching Chinese following graduation.
• CSC Silk Road Scholarship - Apply on the CSC website and sign up for Jinan University's enrollment portal.
• International Chinese Teacher Scholarship – Apply through the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation website and register at Jinan University.
