• Non-Chinese citizens holding a valid passport.
• A positive attitude towards China and a clean criminal record.
• Applicants for bachelor's degrees should have an HSK level of 5 or higher.
• Master's and PhD applicants (for Chinese-taught programs) must have HSK Level 5 and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• For master's and PhD programs taught in English, applicants must have an IELTS score of 6.0 or above.
• Must not be getting any other scholarships.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship includes the following expenses:

• Full tuition fee waiver
• Complimentary accommodation (Standard double room in international student dormitories is RMB 750 per month).
• Living allowance:
  • RMB 1,500 per month (Type B Scholarship).
  • RMB 2,500 per month (Type A, offered to existing students based on academic performance)
• Comprehensive medical insurance costs RMB 800 each year.
